It All Begins Here

All of my art start with a question, a memory, or a moment that refuses to leave me alone. This collection brings together works inspired by nature, symbolism, storytelling, and the quiet details that shape our lives.

The Inheritance. This was a real moment, papa passing down his music from one generation to the next. More than a portrait, its a study of a memory- capturing the way music can bring family together and make an ordinary moment feel worth holding onto
Edge of Connection. This drawing explores the space between reaching and receiving. The moment before contact, connection, or understanding. The hands hover just apart, suggesting that some of life’s most meaningful experiences exist in the tension

The Road of Flowers. This is a digital drawing that took several months, created in honor of Leila. I imagined her in a place of peace, comfort, and reunion. Hidden throughout the landscape are details connected to her life, including the teddy bear

Burnished. This moth caught my attention because of its unexpected contrast, soft earth tones interrupted by vivid gold and dramatic black markings. By isolating the insect from its surroundings, the focus shifts entirely to the complexity and crafts

What Remains. This painting was created from a butterfly preserved during a celebration of life. Spending time studying and painting it became an act of appreciation, both for the butterfly itself and for the life that brought it into my hands.
